Click the link below to watch a short YouTube video we made on removing soil from a potted plant that was planted too deeply in the nursery AKA a crown correction.  Soil mounded around the stem can cause the crown of the plant to rot.  It is important to remove any excess soil from the plant's stem and make sure that it is then planted at ground level or even a little higher, never plant deeper.
